From Ramsgate to Russia With Love
The partnership between the Ramsgate International Film & TV Festival and the Sochi International Film Festival and Awards was officially announced in Sochi at a press conference attended by international press. It marks the start of cultural exchanges under the auspice of the Russian Ministry of Culture as well as the prospects of developing co-productions between both countries. Ramsgate IFTVFest Director Sylvie Bolioli participated at SIFFA 2019 as Head of the Documentary Jury. ‘It was a wonderful opportunity to see a different aspect of Russia, far from the dull representation that media often portray. I also watched movies that I’m keen to screen at our Festival. I’m really looking forward to our future ventures.’
