Over 50 films this year showcasing some of the best indie cinema from all continents and a special screening of local films.

Set in the UK’s Royal Harbour, and stunning location to multiple award winning and acclaimed TV and Film productions, the second Ramsgate International Film and TV Festival will show new works and help promote film makers and cultural awareness. Our screenings are complemented by an international programme of unique events and seminars, with high profile industry professionals.

We are honoured and proud that our Patron; BAFTA, Globe and Cannes Best Actress Winner and Oscar nominated Brenda Blethyn will select the winner of First Feature Film Category, and will be joined by Award winning guests.

The Best Feature winner will get a an additional screening at the Palace cinema in Broadstairs on Saturday 24th March, as part of the Kent Big Weekend experience.

60th ANNIVERSARY of the CARRY ON movies

On Saturday 16th March, two events will commemorate 60 years of the cult movies. Don’t miss your chance to meet Valerie Leon, who appeared in six Carry On movies. The sculptural actress will present an affectionate, illustrated tribute to six of the leading members of the Carry On team!

And enjoy “Carry On Girls”, with Valerie Leon, on the big screen again, followed by a Panel discussion about the popularity of the Carry On movies and the #MeToo movement.
