Middle paints a portrait of a generation of forty-somethings in the midst of a crisis. Aware that their reality is far from the one hoped for at the age of 20, where a future life full of stability is idealized, they are at the time of choices. And these choices are terrible : because some already have children, others hope to finally have some and the last are forced to accept that they will never have any.
