This film documents Kristin who is a performance artist. She has a young daughter and her mother committed suicide when she was just 15 years old. She recounts her experiences and the way that she used performance to deal with her grief. The film also nods to Kristin’s own relationship with her daughter.

The film was shot on one location in a park in Margate on the housing estate where the Director lived as a child. It was made on an iPhone 6 in one day. The film is semi-autobiographical and covers themes on post-feminism, coming of age and teenage motherhood. This film has sparked Charmaine’s wider project ‘A Council Estate of Mind’ which explores the experiences of women who grew up on estates and how this has shaped their identity and representation.
