TYGER
UK | 92 mins | [12]
After his release from prison, an ex-soldier embarks on a journey in an attempt to reunite with his family.
While in prison, Joe was forced to be away from his wife and beloved daughter, Grace, who is about to turn six years old. Grace means the world to Joe and he is desperate to see her again. Before he can do that, he is put on a rehabilitation program by the local council where he is housed in a dilapidated bedsit in Margate and assigned a dead-end job to “help” integrate back into society. Joe is just another lost soul destined to fall between the cracks of the system, abandoned by the government and marginalised by society. His only desire is to make enough money to travel to Scotland and finally be with Grace. But one single moment threatens to destroy his plan and change his life forever.
